Who won the Golden Boot?

That is the burning question. When will the "Golden Boot" for Spring 2010 be handed out. Who won the silver shoe?

U-14 Soccer Players Read This!

Kids. This is a test of your reading comprehension and internet skills.

I need to know how many of you can play a game on Saturday. Go “comments” at the end of this post and make a comment. In that comment, give your first name and the first letter of your last name. John would be John Y. Then, tell me if you are free on Saturday. It could be as brief as, “John Y. Yes.” If you have special needs, tell me, “Jason G. I have to be home before 3:30 to go to Orlando.”

There are eleven of you: how many can pull this off?

The answer to this question is, none.

I'm Headed to New York! I hope those Cocoa Beach Kids stay out of my league.

I am struggling to balance two goals, getting the kids ready for their first soccer game, and keeping next week open as school begins. Our first game should be Saturday August 21, 2010.

Therefore, I am conducting two events; a Friday night beach game, and a Sunday afternoon practice. I know this is a very busy week, and some might not want soccer on a Sunday, so both events are entirely voluntary. There will be no practice on next week, we may go back to the beach on Friday if the kids have fun.

Friday evening at 5:30 I am going to be at the beach at 4th Street South; the beach nearest to Freedom Seven Elementary. We will play beach soccer for about an hour. High Tide is at 5:21 PM and there is a 8:08 PM Sunset.

Sunday, we will meet at the U-10 fields behind Roosevelt Elementary at 5:00 PM for an hour and a half of 4 v 4 unstructured play.
