The Central Brevard chapter of the American Indian Heritage Council has announced that it will be awarding cash prizes for the best American Indian costumes at the Cocoa Beach Christmas Parade.A ten-dollar prize will be awarded for the best costume by a youngster, ten and under, and a twenty-dollar prize will go to the best costume.
Costumes will be awarded during the CHRISTMAS PARADE that will begin at 2:00PM at the "Glass Bank" and Cocoa Beach Library area and travel south along Brevard Avenue. The point of contact for this event is Mr. Pete Cunningham (Phone 783-2228). The costume judging will be by a nine-member committee headed by Randall Horse of the American Indian Heritage Council.
